School Improvement
School Improvement utilizes State and System data to provide guidance to schools. This data helps the schools to determine areas strengths and weakness so that they can accurately set meaningful goals for improvement. School Improvement encompasses two main areas: College and Career Ready Performance Indicators (CCRPI) for each school and the Teacher Keys Effectiveness System (TKES) for each classroom teacher.

CCRPI gives schools data on student achievement and school climate. This data is used for individual school improvement plans and also helps to direct the district in providing appropriate and meaningful professional learning to achieve those goals.

The new teacher evaluation system, TKES, consists of multiple components, including the Teacher Assessment on Performance Standards (TAPS), Surveys of Instructional Practice, and measures of Student Growth and Academic Achievement. The overarching goal of TKES is to support continuous growth and development of each teacher
