There will be dancing and singing tonight at Model High and it is all for a very good cause.  The Show is called "The Last Chance to Dance" and it is the project of Sarah Kate Cochran, a senior at Model High School.  The show will be held in the auditorium at Model High School tonight at 7 p.m. and will include dancing performers and other fine arts talents.  The admission is $3.00 with tickets available at the door.

All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Haven Health Clinic, formerly the Rome Pregnancy Center.  "Last Chance to Dance" is Cochran's senior project required for graduates seeking the Honors seal on their diploma at graduation.  Cochran has taken the required Honors courses to earn the seal and the last step is to complete a senior project. Participating in the Honors program demonstrates a student's dedication to academic preparation by their taking a more rigorous course selection in high school to better prepare themselves for college after graduation.

The show will include dancers, singers, musicians and dramatic performances.  Cochran has been a dancer and involved in theater for most of her school career so she has drawn support from many of her friends who are performers to fill the talent lineup for her show.

There will also be a donation box available for those who would like to provide additional help to increase the show's donation to the health clinic.
