Local favorite turned international violin performer, Tim Reynolds, a graduate of Model High School, is returning to Rome to play in concert at the Desoto Theatre on Sunday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Reynolds left home for Boston and the Berklee College of Music after graduation from Model.  At Berklee, he refined his talent playing the violin that started in string classes at Johnson Elementary School that were taught by his mother Vondell Ringer, currently the principal of Coosa Middle School.  During his time at Berklee, Reynolds traveled the country playing his violin and also performed venues in Europe.  He graduated from Berklee earlier this year.

Reynolds has played the First Friday concerts in Downtown Rome for several years and this past summer he played for a Downtown Rome Block Party.  He was also a regular performer during high school at several local venues.

The concert, "Tim Reynolds, From Bluegrass to Classical and Everything in Between" is already close to a sellout according to representatives from Rome Little Theatre.  The show will include diverse musical styles including folk, jazz, classical, hip-hop and pop.  Tickets can be purchased at Heritage First Bank locations or on the Desoto Theatre website.
