The annual federal programs public meetings to involve parents, teachers and the community in planning for federal programs in Floyd County Schools will be held on several dates this year to assist in public participation. Each meeting is open for all to attend. Parents, teachers and others interested in Title I and federal programs are encouraged to attend one of the meetings.
The meetings provide opportunities for you to learn about federal programs and allows for community members to provide their thoughts about the programs and opportunities available to children in Floyd County. Each meeting is planned for approximately one hour and will include agenda items to share the school system's implementation plan for Title I, the Parent Involvement Plan, and plans for the use of one percent Parent Involvement Funds in the program.
