Johnson Elementary School recently held a reception for Model High seniors who were former JES Wildcats.  The seniors enjoyed their blast from the past as they relived elementary school days with high school graduation looming later this week.

The seniors walked the hallways reminiscing about elementary school days and visiting teachers from their time spent as a Johnson Wildcat.

Current Johnson students also played a part in the reception and witnessed the efforts of hard work paying off for the pending graduates.  The seniors are the younger student's example of reaching the goal of "Destination Graduation."

Johnson teachers and staff took pride in the success of their former students as seven of the eight pending valedictorian graduates of Model High came through Johnson Elementary School.

The Model High graduation ceremony will be held Saturday at 2:30 at The Forum.
