The Atlanta Falcons are coming to Model High School to provide a special football clinic for moms of the community on Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m. The Falcons Moms Football Safety Clinic is designed to provide helpful information to moms who have children considering or playing tackle football. The safety clinic for area moms will include classroom instruction and on-field drills to help moms be a part of providing a safe environment for their children playing football.
The informative and action packed two-hour session is free. The clinic will include instruction on proper equipment fitting, concussion awareness, and the Heads-Up tackling technique. The session includes on-field drills so moms are encouraged to dress in active wear (i.e. tennis shoes and athletic apparel).
Dinner and a t-shirt will be provided to participants in the clinic. Moms are ask to please leave children and spouses at home for this action packed session.
