Floyd County Schools is pleased to announce the availability of applying for free and reduced price meals online.  The process is safe, secure, private and available now for parents anytime or anywhere with an Internet connection.  This can reduce the amount of paperwork you will have to complete over the weekend after the first day of school on Friday.  The application can be accessed on the School Nutrition page of the school system's website or at this link: Free and Reduced Application

The online system uses the highest level of data encryption available to ensure that family information is always safe and guarded.  When a parent applies online, the data is transmitted to the Floyd County Schools nutrition office the same day the application is completed.  Online early application allows for quicker processing and determination of benefits can happen much faster. Applying online will reduce paperwork for parents and the school office.  Reducing the use of paper is also better for the environment.
