Brayan Cornejo, a senior soccer player at Coosa High School, has been invited to participate in the DiVarsity 2014 Georgia High School Soccer All-Star games sponsored by diversity.com.  The All-Star games will be played on May 18 at Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia.  He joins three Armuchee girl soccer players who received the honor earlier this week.

Cornejo netted 43 goals for the Coosa Eagles soccer team this past season.  He scored over 130 goals for his high school career even though he spent over half of his games playing defense.  "Bryan's numbers are impressive and this honor caps off a brilliant four years of play for Coosa," stated Randy Vice, head coach of the Coosa High soccer team. "Bryan has overcome a tremendous amount of adversity to excel during his high school career."

Cornejo was one of three seniors on the Coosa team to advance to the state playoffs each year they played high school soccer.  Cornejo was a four year starter starter for the Eagles.   Along with his 43 goals, Cornejo also was credited with 20 assist.  That made him a part of 63 of the Coosa High 90 total goals this past season.
