Haden Owen, a senior honor student and offensive lineman at Pepperell High School, signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at the Air Force Academy this morning at Pepperell High.  Today was National Signing Day for high school football players.

Owen is a standout in the classroom at PHS and on the football field.  He was a mainstay on the Dragon offensive line this past season playing mostly center for the Dragons.  Owen hopes to play center or guard for Air Force.

Owen’s dedication in the classroom has opened many doors as he looks toward the future.  “I plan to study aerospace engineering and then enter flight school after graduating from the Air Force Academy,” Owen said. “I always wanted to study engineering and fly planes.  At the academy, I will get to do both.”
